Meatless Farms is a plant-based brand offering tasty & easy meat-free alternatives that will still work using the same recipes. Meatless Farms requested RedFern Digital help the brand determine its market opportunity in China, and assist the brand in gaining a better understanding of the China market when it comes to plant-based products.
RedFern Digital conducted market research for Meatless Farms in preparation for market entry. During the research process, insights were obtained on the brand’s main competitors, key target consumers, along with channel and retail opportunities. Moreover, RedFern also conducted industry leader interviews and social listening to further understand consumer behavior, consumer perception towards plant-based products, and upcoming trends in the category. We also ran offline and online monitoring to gain a better understanding of product pricing & promotional strategies, and held sampling tests on Meatless Farm’s new products with influencers and Chinese consumers, collecting feedback on product texture, flavor and cooking methods.
